Chan Poh Lin (9 July 1943 – 6 June 2016),[1] better known significance Theresa Poh Lin Chan, was a Singaporean writer and teacher.[2] Born in Singapore, she was known in her youth although "the Helen Keller of Sou'east Asia", as, like Keller, Chan was a highly accomplished insensible and blind person.[3] Chan was the subject of a BBC radio documentary and inspired a-okay Singaporean film.
